Either way, can you create a new thread with all this carp in, I just want to know if theres a decent aerial booster and if so where can I get one, otherwise can I get TV without an aerial through the Internet!

yeah it's not very high res, but works almost flawlessly

shaw i seen some nerd type boffin create something out of a old type dustbin lid covered in foil and sum runner beans worked a treat.one of them pointless waste of time low budget always got that inventor frank whats his name in.

I detest people that boast about not having a TV licence. I don't particularly like paying £11 a month but I do so because I am a decent law abiding citizen. If all the scum that don't pay were also contributing £11 a month then maybe my fee would come down.

I was under the impression that some of the fee (a small percentage) went to ITV, C4 and C5.

Surely the way to get away with it on a laptop is just to buy receiving USB/PC card on ebay so you don't have to fill out the form of your address when you get it?

No way those detector vans can be effective in halls anyway.

If you can tune in all the channels in one part of the house, do it, then chances are you'll be able to pick up the channels in your room even if you cannot tune them in there.
