hopefully as with the last few races, mercs race pace it better than their quali pace and they can be close too the red bulls and ferrari.

pace like what hamilton had at silverstone cant just disapear in a race.

The new Ferrari engine in the back of Carlos's car is looking like a cracker. If he's half a second a lap quicker than the front runners, we could see a massive come back tomorrow.

He isn't. If you look at the sector times. Carlos' best was weaker than Leclerc's. Now, Carlos never pushed it as far as Leclerc did so he probably has something in hand, but he certainly wasn't a half second ahead. Still, he should be able to blaze his way past the rest of the field.

Yeah i think his only real job will be to get back to the front end of the field and try and put some pressure on the RB's. (If they haven't overtaken CL and disappeared into the distance.)

Never say never in F1. His job is to put himself in a position that if there is a safety car, or an RB/Merc failure, he can pick up the pieces.

Me? I think he and Alonso will take each other out ;)

Merc look no closer. Hopefully race pace is good.

Good performance from Norris again splitting the Mercs. He's really showing up Ric.

Spa is when we'll get a better idea how close the front cars are when the new directive / rules are enforced.

I suspect RB and Ferrari will still be miles ahead, but I'm hoping that it might bring Mercedes and Mclaren back to the front and fighting for wins

1 stop is the fastest strategy says Ted, but I hope it's not as black and white as that.

Edit: No idea what Flav was saying, but I think he was saying a 2 stop will be the way... :D
