Fresh homemade burgers..

I'm sure it is, but in Burger King's case I'm also sure it's combined with certain other ingredients / flavourings to achieve that lovely taste.

Might try that in KFC.

Hello, could you tell me your 11 secret herbs and spices please? Thanks.

:p

Leave out the egg, not needed.

Get some mince which is 20-25% fat content, lean isn't good for burgers.

Don't season the burgers until formed, if you season before forming the patties, you will find the burgers will be a bit rubbery as the salt breaks down the bonds inside the burger which causes the meat to firm up.

Burger King use liquid smoke flavouring to give it that flame grilled taste, but their burgers are crap, they microwave them up to re-heat them ffs :/

This damn thread had me salivating all afternoon at work!!!!

So I went shopping :D

2 Burgers made from

250g Lean Mince
1/3 chopped small onion
A sprinkling of cumin and praprika
***Mix it all in a bowl***
***Form into Burger***
Salt and pepper ground onto the 2 sides.

COOK!!!!

Also made some lovely wedges: maris piper potatoes and healthy dashes or olive oil, garlic salt, pepper and rosemary in a bowl that you coat the par-boiled wedges with.

Everything assembled with some salad, Nandos peri-peri sauce on the burger with the wedges dipped into M&S Garlic Mayo.

Ugh. I'm starting to get really bored of these hideous monster food posts. The first time was quite amusing but it's very zzzzz now.

A friend and I spotted some reduced angus mince a few weeks back on a sunday late afternoon in tesco.
snapped it up and pressed them into burgers, adding nothing.
They were outstanding, wish I had taken pics.
