That is stupid, why would an atheist want the soldiers to die, just because there's no heaven doesn't mean life is pointless, it's the complete opposite.

No. From a militaristic perspective, all armed forces are an asset. Sometimes in a given combat situation it is necessary to sacrifice an asset for the great good of the whole to service some other strategic purpose.

The original quotation makes the suggestion a commander of Faith is more likely to send his troop to die, presumably because it gives him some 'good feeling' that they are 'going to a better place'. This is bull ****. All decisions in war are made with strategic purpose for the capture of some gain. The quotation i added is as equally absurd as the atheist propaganda in the original image.

i think you're missing the point that bill maher generally believes there shouldn't have been a war in the first place, so no "combat situations" should've arisen anyway. george bush didn't personally make those calls in the field anyway so your point is irrelevant.

Funny how something that is overtly anti-theist, is actually covertly pro-pacifist

This week's 'Patience of a Saint Award' goes to whoever runs the @Daybreak Twitter account for the early morning ITV show. It seems their role consists mainly of explaining to viewers watching on ITV+1 why the clock is wrong:
