My brother has just received his for completing 20 out of 22 after taking 'voluntary' redundancy. Think he has about 4 weeks left, anxiety is an issue.
I asked him the same question mate, turns out he will be financially better off than if he stayed for the full 22.
Full pension, honourable discharge and a hefty lump as well.
Yea apparently he took lots of photos of himself around the country. Silly film probably, never seen it. Timothy Treadwell was another dramatic case, Werner Herzog compiled a partly self shot docu about it
Thats what I was thinking except I thought it was half pension. He should still get that then, think 10 years is half which is pretty good deal tbh
As its a lump sum, he could always invest the money well in something. Not sure if normal pension is inflation adjusted (properly), just possible he could do better
