Dramatic photos capture a Canadian Forces pilot ejecting from his stricken CF-18 Hornet fighter over Lethbridge Airport in Alberta during practice for an airshow due to be held today. Due to the extremely low altitude of the ejection the pilot hit the ground before his parachute had chance to fully open. Although injured, he did survive and is currently recovering in hospital. Lucky bugger eh?
