Half-assed spider

So if I'm to understand this correctly, they cut the spider's ass in twain whilst digging, and it just crawled out the hole as if nothing happened.

I don't know and I'd prefer not to think about it. The idea of spiders burrowing makes me uneasy.

I know, it's giant a spider that burrows, and survives being cut in half with a shovel. How does one even kill something like that?
