After finding the d'link dir-615 802.11N 300 router that Virgin media sent me at the back of a cupboard

i thought what the hell and upgraded the firmware to
ddwrt-logo.jpg


so i could use it as a wireless bridge for my
Samsung-BD-C5900-Large.jpg

samsung bd-c5900

it now connects to the internet wirelessly via this

linksys wrt54gl

because im not paying £50~ for one of these

job done :D

or so i thought... i then remembered that virgin also sent me another router

netgear wrg614v10 802.11G

cant install
ddwrt-logo.jpg


but it has had a firmware upgrade

and is now

a

802.11N 150

wtf?.....win!!

That's quite good!

The days of OpenWRT on my old WRT54G are long gone now but with N and Gigabit it does me fine with this setup:
