5.9 is max in vista.

Huh? no....everything is 7.2-7.5 except the HDD which is 5.9 since only SSD drives or 10krpm get above 5.9 it seems and your overall score is the lowest figure which in my case is.....5.9.

Have you not used an 7 experience index before then?

right you are, I only recalled the 'no watermarks' rule as opposed to the specifics, apologies.

I'm not on vista but even the Windows 7 scale is not sensible enough.
