Thing I don't get with all the pony hate is there are so many cartoons out there which are perfectly fine for adults to watch and many will openly admit to watching:

Well other than the obvious Disney ones.. The two Miyazaki ones are Spirited Away and My Neighbour Totoro. Then Danger Mouse and Invader Zim. Don't know the other two.

LOL that they're both now PG rated, I watched them both after school on kids TV. MCoG was on before bloody Blue Peter if I remember correctly.
I can understand the PG rating for MCoG, I suppose, the show was actually pretty realistic in it's portrayal of the Spanish conquistadors as greedy and violent and responsible for the destruction of an ancient civilisation.
Both these shows are probably too educational to be cool these days, however.

Modern kids' TV is mad as a bag of spanners IMO.
There's a few good modern ones. Invader Zim for one, and My Little Pony for another.
