The Bible verse is usually referenced to Female preachers as I've never met a Christian who is against Females doing anything else.
That Quran verse is regularly used for non-muslims to say the Quran condones hitting a disobedient female.

You are lucky then, I have seen it thousands of times, in both religions/cultures.

Not it is the only one in either book, can choose from hundreds :D

But always willing to listen what bits must be believed, interpreted on a different way or just assume as absolute fact, and of course it is all original.

Good Ol' OCUK religion hate XD

The vast majority of information about Horus has no archaeological evidence and there are only two discovered temples to him and one of them is pretty much destroyed. It's just Atheists making up stuff and adding things which are wrong or not even in the story of Horus, I've heard the argument before.

EDIT: Also your scripture you quoted is from the OT. I'm not a Jew.

No, it is just one of the interpretations http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horus#cite_note-oxford-1, but of course we do not allow interpretations if it someone else's believes, do we?

But the same story/myth is all over the ancient religions, keep making remix of the story until it gets really good.

And no, in the new testament says nothing regarding the matter ....

By the way, nothing against your god, all against religion.

By the way, do please let me know when the next version of the christian bible, without the old testament comes out, or when the future pope decides to renounce from it.

I don't see how any of the verses you just linked are even negative? The culture/idea of a man being over a woman in the past was not just religious. It still exists today and even amongst Atheists so what you getting at?

Horus has many versions and none of them are anything like the Bible, the ones that do have similarities to the Bible are not even canon to any part of the story derived from archaeological evidence.

The Pope does not speak for anyone but Catholics and they have their own Bible which if you knew anything about the subject you'd know they actually rewrote it from the original. Those who tell you the Bible has been changed and the original scripture is missing are just the people who want to believe what they want like.

No idea about why you mention the OT, there are Bibles without the OT and that's because the Bible is the NT. The OT is still believed by Christians but it is Jewish and therefore is for our learning, not doctrine.

Good ol' religious ignorance. You might need to see someone about all that bottled up hate.

If it someone else's? Beyond trying to wrap your brain around that one, be warned you are embarrassing yourself with your posting, and the previous post of 'atheists making stuff up' is correct.

Take for example, the comparison image of Jesus and Horus, born of the virgin Isis. A quick wiki lists parents as 'Osiris and Isis in some myths, and Nut and Geb in others.', clearly listed fathers, and at the bottom of the page, a tacked on, dodgy uncited reference to some movie and some book which claim an immaculate conception. GO SCIENCE.

Who's the religious nut job here? It's the atheist basing his/her sources on paid for evidence. Sounds allot like scientology
