Friday 13th

Took the day off work for a delivery from City Link and they never **** showed up.

Checked the online consignment note during the day and at 1730 come up the goods could not be deliverd and a card left at 1302 hrs.

Checked the front of the house to see if I did miss him some how, no card was found.

Phoned & rebooked for monday or may go tomorrow to collect in person, nice trip to Sydenham.

I came |---| this close to having one of the worst day of my life, but I didn't so yay :D

Supersticions are a load of Buzard scrotum.

Well at work today a guy popped in through the fire exit wearing a hockey mask. He was looking for a group of stereotypical people performing everyday chores, so I sent him on his way to the nearest cafe via the school and public toilets.

Nice chap.

well i got to order my x1900xt, my case and some coolink fans...so far so good, anyone want to bet what condition they arrive in? i'm going for, indistiguishable pieces, and like raikiri said, i had to go t o college :/ but that happens every friday, same with crappy old work, now that i think about it i did smash 3-4 jars :D good job they weren't mirrors ;)

I had some servers to install this evening which all went without a hitch *but* my old faithful car has started repeatedly blowing headlight bulbs which I just know is going to be a pig to trace :(.

Fracking Friday 13th :( :(

Yep I had an awful day. Just everything seemed to go wrong. But worst of all on my way home on the train 5 blokes all drunk took the **** out of me and were verbally abusive. I wanted to say something but they were bigger than me and there was 5... Felt so small and like a kid picked on at school. Not exactly a nice feeling.

I found out my ex (who I still realy like) has the hots for a guy who is (acording to a mutual friend) a ****.
brilliant.

oh and from the Hellgate:London website
Friday, October the 13th, 1307... King Phillip IV's order to capture all French Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and the Temple of Solomon on charges of heresy was carried out.

In fact, the Knights Templar, as they had come to be known, were anything but the order of destitute warrior monks Hughes de Payens charged to safeguard the lives of Christian pilgrims 200 years prior. They had, in fact, grown to accumulate great wealth and power through early banking conventions, and so posed a threat to the current powerbase, with whom they had fallen far out of favor...basically old Philip the Fair felt like skipping on a big loan so he could war against the English in peace. Whoops!

Years later Philip influenced Pope Clement V to officially disband the order, which lead to Papal censure and the justified state seizure of Templar assets. Because of its abrupt demise, many mysteries surround the Order to this very day. Money, ships, men and treasures were never wholly accounted for.

And what does this have to do with Flagship Studios? Well, some thematic variation of the Knights Templar are included in our own Hellgate: London computer game. But, and far more importantly, history now gives us an opportunity to strut about the office charging various people with heresy and having them tortured into submission. It's our way of maintaining tradition.
