Friday Funny?

A woman goes into hospital in labour, after 5 hours there is some complications but she finally gives birth. The baby is whisked away and after a few minutes the doctor comes back in.

Doctor says to the woman, "I've got some good news and bad news".

"Give me the bad news"

"Ok, your baby's ginger"

"Oh god, what's the good news?"

"it's dead"

Classic :D

I fail to see what stretching your upper lip has to do with labour pain (the majority of labour pain is due to muscle contractions and subsequent fatigue in the uterus).

Still, never let facts get in the way of a good joke, that's what I say!

Think about it.. lips, and stretching.

Tick tock tick tock :D

Yes, I understand that, but the stretching in labour doesn't cause the majority of the pain, it's the lactic acid build-up. It's the oxygen-debt to the muscle which causes the pain. It's a large muscle, doing a lot of work.

So a far better analogy would be to go run a marathon, although it's not as "amusing" at least it'll be accurate.

:)
