Actually you may be right about the cartoon airing in the 90's (not sure), but my original point was that he was showing his youngness (I know that isn't technically a word) by stating that it was a cartoon, whereas I am sadly old enough to remember the original non-cartoon version.

couldn't have been that one seek as it remember it as a cartoon,
i agree with you InvaderGIR cartoons were deff aired in UK before 2000, @ a rough guess it was in around 97/99 when i was in yr3-5 of school so i was aged around 8 to 11 max

I never watched much TV as a kid, was always out side, so actually missed loads of stuff that I should know about. I then watched loads of TV late 90's till now, so caught up on loads of kids stuff, but not the good old stuff, due to it not being aired again.
