Lol if he was a 3 year old you'd all be saying how awesome he is. Never trust a computer geek forum on life decisions. If he wants to play himself into oblivion, it's a free world.

I think you should take a photo of him everyday and make one of those websites with the photo a day thing. That way when/if he deteriorates, we can all watch and laugh along

The leader of a guild I used to play with on the same server dropped out of university whilst his parents thought they were funding him through it, instead of dealing with reality he jumped in front of a train a few months ago.

He was a bit of an idiot when I spoke to him but still a horrible waste.

whenever he is back in job market they will want to know what he has done since his last job. Telling them 'I left work to concentrate on wow' will not cut it. I know i would never employ him.

the correct response would be:-

I didn't work for three years as I went to Canada to help my uncle set up a cattle ranch. It tought me to be self reliant and to persevere in the face of difficulty. In addition to this it also honed my time management skills and even helped me to understand various procurement processes.

So far it has been the most rewarding episode of my life but now he is on his feet and the business is running efficiently I have decided to branch out and develop my own career away from the family unit.
