Yes I think it is. My daughter has watched it for years. But now her classmates seem to have picked it up too.
 
To be fair he never said she was fat? Maybe the guys wife is 6ft1 and likes to bodybuild for all we know...

As great as Friends is/was. After one has seen it for 1000 times. It's no more. I remember I used to watch it so much during the late 90s and most of the 00s.

It's a shame there will be never anything of that style ever again. TV sitcoms never seem to capture that magic from the 90s and the 00s. Everything is forced humour. Or always referencing social media.

I always saw Friends as a sequel to Cheers. It's a comdey about a group of friends all talking about crap centred around a single location. Where alcohol gave way to coffee it moved from a bar to a cafe.

I am rocking 40% body fat these days so I can't really have a go at her. We may both try to lose a few Lbs in the new year but the aim is to eat, drink, be merry (and watch friends lol) during lockdown and through Xmas.

I don't like it or the style but there are plenty of similar that I don't find funny also but a lot do.
