Not going to get any of the Sci Fi thou, i don't think Sci Fi has much have a rewatch value compared to comedy. even thou i LOVE 24, watches LOST, and Battlestar Galactica.

A nice collection there mate. What is Scrubs like I'm thinking of picking that up on DVD, only seen the odd 5 minute clip.

I think some Sci-Fi shows are worth re-watching more than others, plus don't forget shows like Lost and Stargate come with LOADS of extras.

P.S I'm glad no one noticed my guilty pleasure on that Picture lol.

Scrubs is ace. Make sure you start at the beginning, season 1-4 are great, the last one was a bit lacking but still pretty funny. My favourite season would be 2, but as i said; start at the beginning! :)

I keep missing them as there on too late, bought series 1 and 2 on DVd a fair few years ago now and had been waiting for a UK release of seasons 3 & 4, doesnt look like thats going to be happening anytime soon (already on season 5 I believe in america) so bought the R1 release a few weeks back of series 3, took 3 nights for me and the missus to watch them all, absoloutely superb.

Going to order the Region 1 version of Season 4 at somepoint in the next month, once I've got through the first season of lost.

TV Show finales are rarely on top of their game when they finish.

I totally understand how addictive TV Shows on DVD are:

No Friends yet, the only comedy show I own is The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

What, no Firefly????? But glad to see Space: Above and beyond in there! Col McQueen rocks!

I have Firefly but it is such a short lived show it never really caught on, good while it lasted thou.

Also have Season 1 of X-Files but i saw an episode the other day and it looks really dated, the film they used (same with Buffy Season 1) is 4:3 and looks really VHS like. In comparison, Ally McBeal cira 1997 - 2003 fair much better.

I only have two complete collections for TV shows - Buffy and Friends. I reckon I've seen each episode of friends at least 5 times, the earlier ones probably more like 10 times. It's just something you can throw on any time, no matter what the mood or occasion.

Alas, some of the discs are getting a bit dodgy with the constant abuse - I've got a couple of episodes that no longer play at all :( Just wish it had happened to the dumb flashback eps...

I think Lost will be the one that I add to my collection next :D

I find Lost has no rewatch value thou, it is similar to 24 where the tension comes from not knowing what is going to happen next. More so in Lost as not only it springs up new twist, it also brings up new questions, multiple ones. Once you find out it is not the same watching it again.

If people watched Lost just for the mystery and suspense I think they would have given up on it after the frist few episodes and certainly by the end of season 1. Besides theres tons of things you can pick up on second viewing.

24 had loads of re-play value for me I must have watched each season at least 2 times on DVD. Just because you know whats going to happen dosn't mean its not enjoyable, if that was true no one would buy DVD's of films they saw at the Cinema.

It's nothing on Scrubs.

I remember Thursdays been Friends night, then they started putting Scrubs on before Friends and it was Scrubs to look forward to and then Friends was a bonus.

Whilst it's a good show it got worse with age and the writing was poor compared to something like Scrubs.

Where's your limited collectors edition of Buffy eh? It's my pride and joy, though I did have to overpay to get the Angel one :(. And you don't have Smallville, Point Pleasant or The OC which is just wrong.
