Fritz Chess Benchmark/Super PI Thread 2010

Edit: added current results. Feel free to move this into the OP easyrider.

Sorted by score in the Fritz chess benchmark as super Pi was too intel orientated - anyone care to explain why the AMDs did so badly?

SuperPi was always known to perform poorly with AMDs. There are other less biased alternatives but not too many people here use them.

I think it has something to do with L2 cache.

Difference is due to the way that the CPU's pre-fetch to cache, super-pi is designed to work with the Intel architecture. Am sure that someone who knows more will let us know

Updated 2nd post with results table.

You're welcome to have this for the OP easyrider.

Hi Geckovich great table thanks:cool:

Might want to remove the second post table as not to confuse

You OK to update and overwite the one in photobucket so the OP stays current?
