Very much a Benn Eubank rivalry going on with these 2 and this hasn't answered much so there will be another for sure!

Next fight will be much higher profile as well as a lot of people (me included) thought Groves wouldn't have a chance but he's been more than a match for him tonight.

But like the 5 live comms say will Froch fancy another fight like that, he's getting a lot of hard miles on the clock now and 11 world title fights in a row these wars are starting to mount up.

Didn't really look to me he was going to get knocked out there, Groves was struggling but i think he would have been ok.

I'm not sure myself but you know what, no one knows. Groves was fantastic and that stoppage was ridiculous.

If you afford one the courtesy when they have been knocked on their arse and wobbling then you can't stop the other when he's took a few big hits.

I agree in the fact it should not have been stopped, for that reason alone... and of course i dont know for sure but the way the fight was going, a war, at the end, suited froch and was leaning in his favor.. I would have loved to have been able to see the rest and see if groves could have pulled through (still think froch would have stopped him eventually) but the ref screwed that up so..

Terrible decision, it's a world title fight they are going to get hurt. He wasn't even connecting properly to groves dont know why he stopped it.

Premature stoppage, but I am convinced Froch would have finished it off that round or the next. Groves had fought his fight and Froch was still punching back. Matter of time.

Bad stoppage but I'd pay to see the rematch. Lets not forget the blows Froch took , the man is a frickin machine. utterly ludicrous how someone can take blows like that

What about after a minute when Froch was on his arse ? Was that leaning in Frochs favor ? Or the 7 rounds after that when Groves dominated.

The ref saw an opportunity to give Froch the win so he did.

If Groves had won Froch would (probably) have retired... With it ending like that there has to be a rematch i.e. another domestic pay-per-view for sky.... Sometimes I wonder.

This fight was going only one way after round 8. Experience was showing, groves was doing the wrong thing, wrong Moves,Move once hurt and Froch had 3 more rounds to exploit.

Froch was taught speed today, Froch experience in my opinion showed but at 36 so it should.

Great fight wish it had lasted until it was truly stopped

Agree but I don't think that first round knock down would've happened a year or two ago. Think he should chase a few big paydays before retiring rather than chase Ward anymore because that wouldn't be petty.

The point is, Groves was still throwing them, the big one Froch landed came straight after Groves caught him again, let them fight it out, it's a fight after all.

If Groves was struggling then Froch was in real trouble in the first. So much so he didn't remember it!
