Froch vs Kessler

ward wont fight outside of the states. he's been offered it before and asks for more and more money, until the talks break down.

Yep. Asked for $7 million to come over here and fight Froch last time which would've meant only he made any money. He's a coward in and out of the ring.
 
I think there were 4, 9, 10 and 11 that could all be given as draws, or pretty much any way.

THink giving them all to Froch is nuts, giving most of them to Kessler is also wrong, 4 round gap seems about right to me. 116-112 is the fairest score, 118-110 is nuts.
 
i really do admire sports people like this.

Boxing feels like a fighting sport, with bad feeling with the hype and so on. When it comes down to it they are the ultimate sports person along with Rugby players.

Footballers cannot get along with a game of 22. This is about two people, heart, desire, warrior, fighting and possible serious medial impact. Fair play
 
i just wish the the various belt federations would just say. you fight or you lose the belt to the fighters. would save on a lot of the running around.

but saying that i think they should deduct points for holding.
 
Froch will never ever beat Ward wherever they fight. He reminds me of a heavier Mayweather. I've heard it many times on how X fighter is going to beat mayweather. Skill always triumphs.

Well on his current form I think Froch would feel confident fighting anywhere, so I think for the right money he would go back over to fight Ward. Might even get 50:50, with Ward being rated number 2 pound for pound, and Froch now unified champ. I still think Ward would pull it off.

Kessler put a lot on the line in the early rounds soaking up jabs, waiting for a chance to move in, which came too late. Ward wouldn't have been hit half as much.

Froch actually looks better than ever, so all credit to him.

Yes but Froch was very skilful in the first 5 rounds tonight. Very good boxing, and much better than ever before. But I do agree that Ward is still probably too skilful, albeit less exciting to watch.

Yeah but holding or not, he has dominated his last 6 fights (well, the only ones I've seen). He took a younger Kessler to town, slipped (and held) Froch but also countered him all over the place, and embarrassed Chad Dawson...
