From Video Game to Movie

I have a feeling this will be a bit controversial as a lot of people strongly believe that classic video games should be left well alone but im interested to see other people thoughts on this...

I know its not exactly a new concept (Mortal Kombat/Marios Bros/Final Fantasy/Street Fighter etc), but with the upcoming release of Sonic the Hedgehog it got me thinking, are there any video games either recent or from your youth that you would like to see turned into a movie?

For me it would have to be either Metal Gear Solid or the Elder Scrolls franchise.

As a comment on the whole 'video games as movies' thing, it's interesting how much better the Detective Pikachu movie looks than Sonic. Pikachu actually has a shot at being good - I kind of want to see it, despite never playing the games and being a couple of years too old to have watched the series.
 
I would dig an adult themed TV show in the Borderlands universe, I kinda got those vibes from the 'Suits' short from Love, Death & Robots.
 
A decent halo series or film, the miniseries they did was quite good tbh.

Something in the warhammer universe, a very difficult ask to be fair, but there are avenues that can be explored.

Something in the MGS universe, though I think that ship has sailed now.

Bioshock could be a good adaptation.

Dunno what else though, but definitely halo for me, it’s grounded, familiar and has so much lore at this point... it just needs some justice done.
