If you know someone is fronting, is there anyone you can contact, or do I have to bite my tongue and enjoy increased premiums all round?

Grassing up your mate isnt going to lower your premium.

Depends on how you feel about things you dont like, I guess. Can't say I would waste the phonecall.

Quality, join the police if you want to be a detective.

OCUK! I know someone who drove for a day without a valid tax disc on display!!!!

SHOULD I REPORT THEM!?!?!?!?!?

Why would this even bother you? I think we all probably know somebody who does this but it's a risk that they take.

When they have an accident, they'll be found out.

How?

OP, this kind of behaviour will either a. leave you with no friends, or b. leave you with paint stripper all over your car.

I'm not sure why you'd want to interfere in people's lives so much, especially when it has no impact on yourself.

Don't be a grass.

We all know people who do it, it's between them and the insurance company.
They'll just find another reason to charge ridiculous amounts for insurance, it won't affect your policy at all, learn now, insurance companys are greedy and selfish.

It'll obviouslly depend on the car being driven, and the person who's claiming to be the main driver, if the main driver is 40+ year old professional, alarm bells will ring in the insurers head, and they'll likely investigate it as they'd hardly think his primary car would be a barried up saxo or corsa, if he already owns a BMW or a Merc repmobile?

depends on the age of the driver, if its his/her first year of motoring, after passing the test, then i dont think its to much of an issue to be a named driver, but basically be the main owner

but when the driver is well clear of puberty, and really should be learning to pay for their own stuff, then its a bit wrong

Yeah, fraud is ok. That's exactly what fronting is.

Take them down, hard.

Only one man for the job IMO.

You know nothing about how insurance works, then. Most of them don't profit from people over-paying premiums compared to what they pay out. They make profits on cash turn overs and addons.

If they have to pay out less they will underwrite for less.
