Fry ups

I can beat the sausage

I mean I love a full English but I prefer a full Scottish.

Haggis for breakfast is lovely and you can't beat a square sausage.

I always thought the name was unfortunate though, I know it's spelled differently, but you are effectively saying lawn sausage, which is well.... Something the thing in the picture above might produce....

@HoneyBadger

Doesn't look filthy enough for me. I like the ones you get in them turkish "best cafe" where they make you pay first, where I grew up in North London there were loads of them about. The eggs are cooked in those round things, and they give you chips, sauce out of a red squeezy bottle, that kinda thing.

However... the french toast?? for whoever is sitting opposite you looks pretty damn good.

Yeah, I know what you mean. This was more of a fancy place.

There’s a corner cafe in Clarkenwell, London called People’s Choice and my team and I used to frequent often. It reminds me of what you described!

MrsHB had the French toast!

How come I saw you in M&S food hall the other day then?

It's ok, we don't judge here :D

Sorry, I forgot, I get my sourdough, peaches and occasionally Sicilian lemon and white chocolate biscuits from M&S! :p

You're not that nice checkout lady are you?

If you are, I like how you did your hair last week! :D

2x Sausage (Ideally of a good quality)
2x Back bacon, crispy
2x Fried or poached eggs - Ideally runny
2x Hash browns
2x toast (White or brown, but ideally bloomer)
1x Fresh tomato, halved, fried or grilled
1x Black pudding
1x Baked beans
1x Mushrooms

Nice big hot cup of English breakfast tea, brewed strongly with a dash of semi skimmed milk, or ideally some oat milk and a small glass of juice. Orange (No pulp) or Apple.

This is almost perfect though poached eggs for sure.
Sourdough toast
I prefer vine tomatoes - but you have to have the grilled tomato IMO.

Coffee for me instead of tea - though if coffee is not available tea is fine.

I'm hungry now...

3 x sausage
2 x well done bacon
2 x fried eggs
lots of baked beans
half a tomato
sprinkling of mushrooms
2 pieces fried bread
1 mug of strong coffee

Leave the hash browns to the Yanks where they belong.

Got to have black pudding with mine.
Well done bacon, nice and crunchy with the egg yolk.
Baked beans in a side pot.
Roasted tomatoes, cracked black pepper on them.
Toasted sourdough for mopping up is peak.
And a cup of coffee.
