It leaves a decent margin for Rachel to pick your pocket on the 30th. Expect at least 5p per litre.

When fuel duty was cut we didn't really see any benefit from that either. Oil companies took it as extra profit.

Well many of the petrol stations are franchised out, the ones who banked the 5p were those people not the oil companies even if they are branded BP, Shell etc.
