They’ll level out at about the current rate I think. Otherwise they’ll just restrict supply until it goes up again.
As above I don't get use to it, I would expect the chancellor to increase duties to plug this black hole in the countries finances.
It's a risky thing to add more duties to fuel considering the already high cost, that's likely to hit working families the hardest. Best to target more taxation on things like EVs.
With the dropping fuel prices, they will be even more tempted to increase the duty. I'd be very surprised if it doesn't go up 5 or 10p/litre in the budget.
ive been thinking the same too, its going up at least 5pWith the dropping fuel prices, they will be even more tempted to increase the duty. I'd be very surprised if it doesn't go up 5 or 10p/litre in the budget.
Ouch! In and around Peterborough even the expensive garages have all dropped to around £1.32 for e10! Hope the drop also comes down your way.E10 around here in Dorset still in the 144 to 150 range
Problem is it's a double whammy when inevitably the prices go back up.
It shocked me when we moved here in January - if you go to a supermarket station, you can save 3-5p, but prices around here are probably just with added tourist taxOuch! Indeed - it's been high for at least the last 3 years I reckon, basing that on filling up my last 3 motorcycles.... Almost certain the prices back in 2020/21 were in the 140-145 range, no more chucking 12 quid in to brim a tank, now it's 20 quidCan't remember when last it's been this low though!
Nah, it's climate crisis these days. Then it is evil OPEC being greedy.
Prices haven't gone up as yet. Could it be the new government at work !
