Not surprised, paid £115.9 for super a few weeks back ... it's likely well over that now.

...And don't diesels require priming if they run completely dry?
Old mechanical ones did. Modern common rail diesels use electric pumps so if you keep priming/cranking the system it will come back through.
It's just not all that long ago on Top Gear when Jeremy drove from lands end to john o'groats in a Jaguar he said if he runs out of fuel, he couldn't simply just fill it up...

Unfortuneatly this dictatorship, opps sorry I mean Government have made most types of fuel protests illegal. Any action that may cause the disruption of fuel supplying is now a criminal offence.


the PM has increased tax recently by 2p ish on fuel, obviously to compensate for smokers quitting since the ban. So now I am paying smoker tax and I dont even smoke![]()
