I didn't like the demo but bought this on Saturday for something new to play. It's much better than the demo and is brilliant fun, so much carnage!
The frame rate issues do really bug me though, the game can be screaming along then the frame rate drops to single figures, not nice
Apart from that and the odd random lock up it's a good, fun game. I've yet to try it on Live but I imagine it's a good laugh.

It seems the lockups are similar to PGR3, if you hit the guide button whilst it's loading it has a fit. Not every time mind.
Does anyone know what the secret achievements are?

My lockups just happen at random, not even having to press the guide button. It's only happened a couple of times but it's just annoying.
We'll definately have to get some online action going, I'm trying to get the career finished before I try it online, I'm 75% complete on the career right now.

Not had any lockups myself, there's bit's where it's slows down for a second, but no lockup at all.
Anyone raced alongside the water yet? Ouch!! Those wooden bridges don't hold the weight of the car do they?
Going through the "Hunter" course now. Totally different, you can't just race and kill, you need to pick out the hunted and target him to win, anything else is a bonus.
Really enjoying this, can't wait for a little OcUK bash later on

The secret achivements are nothing paticularly secret. Go through career mode and you'll get them all.
O yeah, job lot for the gold medal. Really enjoyed that course, almost like Spy Hunter Tarrantino style.

Just rented this and getting totally owned on the final tutorial course 
S'pose it's fun enough in a mindless carnage kind of way but the AI is just too good for me. I can only last about 5 seconds in first place before getting my butt torpedoed.
7/10 so far. If I get better at it the score may rise. I'll give it a week before sending it back.

Really! I didn't think the AI was that bad.
Only advice I can offer is choose the machine gun as the primary weapon, change it to level 3 and if a car overtakes you've got 3 times more power to take it out and take it's place.
The only level I thought was a real challenge was the one that requires you to kill 4 baddies, with the shotgun, in about 1min 30secs and in the canyon run.
