Just had a quote from a company to get a full vinyl wrap of my car (Honda Civic Type-R) in the style of the St. George's Cross. Basically the entire car would be wrapped in white, with a red stripe going up the bonnet, over the roof and down the boot/bumper, and corresponding red stripe up the doors/rear quarter panel.
For anyone who doesn't know about vinyl wraps - it's basically the same principal as regular vinyl decals you can get (Fast & Furious style crap), except in this case it acts as an alternative to a respray. Lasts 3-5 years and can be removed easily to take car back to original colour come sale time.
Anyway, quote I had back was £755+VAT for the job. Seems like a low amount of money to spend for a job that would turn my car white (its black, and they dont even make white ones over here) and support England during the WC.
Any thoughts? Do you think it might look lame?
