Full eclipse of the moon tonight?

As a noob in training, anyone got any suggestions for how to get some decent shots of this event? I'm guessing I'm not going to get super awesome pictures with my 400d and kit lens, but It's not like I'm going to get another chance for a while! 
Just been out to get some more practice shots...complete cloud cover where I am... 
AtomicBanana, check out my thread below for some ideas, basically the 18-55 lens more than likely hasn't got the reach required to get any kind of close up of the moon itself.

You could try for long exposure landscape shots with the moon arcing overhead
That is if there isn't heavy cloud cover like there is here.

Stellarium (http://www.stellarium.org/) has the eclipse starting about 1.30am.

well this is all i could get, cloud was increasing by the minute,
taken with a nikon D40, jessops 2X convertor, nikor 70-300mm zoom

Same, stopped up until 1am... looked outside and never seen so many clouds!
O well... maybe in another 7 years i will get it
