its in preparation for the expansion pack....the theory goes its only multiplayer...some of us actually like a game with a story ;-)

and thus would buy the game if we enjoyed the mp

Its a good move its the same as giveing Trackmania Nations away for free wich is based on an updated TMO and TMS engine(2 games that are past there sale by date)for the Electronic Sports World Cup.
nIstead of limiting that hard work just for that event they gave it away for free to build awareness for the next payfor version TrackMania United that is out this year getting thousands of ppl to play the free version who would have never even known about TM in the first place. saying that tho im seeing more new players on TMS the payfor due to ppl playing TMN first.

Makes good sence to give away the old one thats not making any money any more to get the dont know about it, were not going to buy it ppl hooked for the next one

It’s so annoying, I know FEAR is £10 but why copy Wolfenstien and make a separate multiplayer that already comes with the game. Also if you run FEAR max on multiplayer you can easy get fps lag and get owned easy. Running it in lower settings does help

Also FEAR Extraction Point will be out this year so they better add the new guns to the multiplayer but no doubt there will be a separate multiplayer for that.

Because it's a marketing exercise for the upcoming sequel.

Well i found FEAR multiplayer to be on par with some of the worst MP FPSs ive ever played, infact I think it could be the worst.

I will download this if its free and try it again, but my god it sucked 1st time round. :eek:
