Same problem as the rest of you: used both Hotmail and Gmail to sign up, no serial key email either in my inbox or in my Junk folder! Highly annoyed!

If anyone's saved the email address they send it from can you post it here so I can add it to my safe senders list for Hotmail? (Although I'll have to setup a new email address to receive this since it'll say "this address is already on our database" if I try to re-enter it... :rolleyes: )

You got an IP for that mate? Been looking for a while can't find it.

Seems a little laggy on most servers, with Pings being 300/500+ at times.

my serial went instantly to my gmail inbox no problems. :confused:

edit: check your trust mail. you can have mine. i won't be needing it. :cool:

I love the melee attacks. It's great when 2 of you both run out of ammo in 1on1 and go sliding across the floor at each other :p
 
Is it me or in the slowmo servers it enters slowmo by itself at random times? Can't seem to deactivate it either which is annoying. If I'm lucky its rather useful!

That would be somebody else picking up the slo-mo power-up, thereby forcing everyone into slo-mo for as long as it lasts. :cool: Of course things move faster for him than for everyone else, otherwise it would defeat the point! :p
 
This is pretty good. I have got it working in Widescreen and with the graphics on maximum it is great. I love the "penetrator" You can nail people to the wall. Or even better nail people to the wall in slow motion.

its already been posted earlier in this thread.

It worked for me by just swapping the FEARL.Arch00 file, I didn't need to unpatch or reinstall.
(i upgraded using the 1.06 to 1.07 us patch though not the 1.00 to 1.07 us)

Can anyone explain what the "sidestep" key bind is for?

I set it to my mouse 4 key button thinking it was similar to a dodge move in UT but when i hold it in it seems to disable mouse look and moving the mouse appears to make your game character tap dance in the direction you move the mouse, rather bizare.
 
This is great. I'm really enjoying it. However sometimes on map load my monitors will turn off, anything running on my pc will stop (i.e. Ventrilo) and I have to hold down the power button and restart to get my pc to reboot. It does it randomly for no apparent reason. I posted on the official forums and I got no reply, haven't seen any solutions either. If anyone has any idea I'd be really grateful if you could let me know! Thanks!
 
Been playing this again last night and it is really good. the Penetrator is by far the best all round gun. If you crouch it is very accurate, you can kill people instantly at long range and close up it does nice damage also but not much recoil just don't duck, dodge instead. I have been getting best on the teasm every round and am seriously loving this. I challenege anyone to defeat me. I can just run around getting killing sprees pwning about 10 people per go on team detahmatch. there must be so many n00bs playin this cos it is free. thx guys.

I agree. I also challenge you to a Penetrator duel ;)

My fav map so far has to be Campus. That big open quad in the middle is great on TDM, especially fighting through the tunnel.

Fav gametype is simple 8 player DM.
 
I wish my gaming rig wasn't broken so i could try this out :( I never tried the multiplayer when i had FEAR installed as i played the first few levels and then uninstalled it. Waaay too jumpy for me :p

It sounds like fun though, i bet by the time i can play it everyone will be bored and the servers will be empty :(
