You may of heard the saying function before fashion
Well, im wanting to purchase a case, for a computer to be built for gaming, picture editing, recording tv and everything lol, pretty much everything

Anyways - i dont think i will be adding much to the insides until around 3 months time, but i want to save money for the case

I want a case with good airflow capabilities, a window panel and dials on the front for temperature and No swearing...thanks...

any suggestions - the price has to be less than erm...£70

Well you need a case and then a fan controller.

Firstly, I would recommend you take a long hard look at the Lian Li PC7+ as this is the best case sub £100 at the moment in my opinion.

Windows can be had for it aswell, but this will take you to your budget.

If you need a fan controller for that same budget, then you either need to sacrifice the window, or the controller.

The other option of course is to buy a cheaper and inferior case. But the choice is ultimately yours.

the budget can easily stretch - just i dont wanna spend where its not gaining much
if its got good cooling, window panel and controllers and its more than 70 i will still be interested - links,ideas...
just checked the 1 u mentioned - i was after what i think more lyk a gaming case look - something that stands out
thanks in advance... :D

Aspire X-Cruiser Silver Ultimate Pack With Hiper 580 Modular Psu
is the look i am after - heres the link...
No competitor talk please

Man that is one fugly case. Just buy a big black boring case and fit the modules that you need. Ie Stacker/Thermeltake armour/full tower with 5.25" fan/LCD diagnostic/card reader bays. You might find the stock display on the case is inadequate. Just fit the new one you want (ie a 5 fan module)

is this place really only about advertising themselves
i understand the point of it- but i thought it would be safe to talk about others
ok ocuk - do you sell that case...
lol
anyways - what you think of that case
know any similar for a smaller price range
and where do u open the drives, i cant see the slots

Naming "competitors" isn't allowed, I agree a bit OTT. Can't even mention the big auction site, or companies in another country!

I guess that case you linked to a door type. Keeps it neat, and might reduce noise. However pain if you insert discs often, installing ripping etc. But I guess once everything is installed better. no warez talk please!

Get rid of the links unless you want your account suspended.

And on the case front, for the love of god don't buy a 'gaming' case (whatever that means anyway). We've all been there, they look cool and bling, but you'll soon tire of it and want something that doesn't blind you and make you feel sick whenever you get near it. Go straight for something with understated and classy looks like the Lian Li, hell, even some of the Thermaltake cases look quite nice nowadays!

In all seriousness - think about it!

This site costs nothing for us guys to use ie. no fees, it's a huge site with loads of vistiors and must cost a fair bit to keep up and running - who pays for it?

Thats why there is no competitors.

And before you go any further read the FAQ

90% of your posts so far have broken the rules, we wouldn;t want to see you banned so soon after joining

djunknown, please be careful about what you post here. I've already seen a few posts with swearing in them, and now two instances of posting competitor links. If you want to ask about a case then that's fine, mention the model number and maybe link to the manufacturers site. You are not allowed to list competitor names or talk about competitors in any way as it is against the rules of the forum. Please be careful, and as has already been suggested, read the FAQ :)
