funny truth

And now you are talking rubbish. Never said all. I have merely voiced my dislike about a few.

You never said anything along the lines of "the minority" or "the few" or "some". You said "the thing that annoys me is that illegal immigrants..." implying you meant....them all. Yes, illegals should be sent back ASAP and most cost effectively, but to say the illegal immigrants come over here and complain is simply moronic, since a lot of the time they have travelled half the world in the back of lorries or hanging onto the bottoms of high speed trains.

I have only given examples.

Where?

It is people like you that are generalising.

Really? Perhaps you could show me where i've generalised about anything? I've never said "all immigrants are great" or anything like that. I've simply stated that not all immigrants are how you'd like to believe they are. Afterall, it's a lot easier to dislike a whole group of people, rather than differentiating between the morons and decent people.

Someone says something about illegal immigrants and you come to the rescue!!!! Does it give you a warm fuzzy feeling?

Your post MAY have carried more weight if i hadn't just posted about the need to tighten immigration laws and take away things that attract immigrants to this country. But then i guess it again makes it easier to believe that everyone who doesn't curse all immigrants must love all immigration and see it as the best thing in the world everest.

But my point still stands with asylum seekers, why do they come here and not any of the other countries? It's because we are such a soft touch and so easy to enter.

What makes you think that other countries dont take in asylum seekers etc?
What makes you think that the UK is the only country with these issues?
Ever done any research or do you just assume that every asylum seeker ends up in the UK?

No, but the fact that so many risk their lives to hang onto trains heading for the UK, when they can easily go to Germany, Spain, Italy, France kinda speaks for itself.

You are correct, it would have carried more weight but all you are interested in is attacking me, your post about tightening immigration was written far more neutral tone

No, i was attacking your point of "illegal immigrants come here and complain about this country" which is simply ridiculous, for reasons i have stated a few posts above.

you actually get sent home...

its if you cross legally you get all those things. and its very easy to cross legally here compared to USA/canada/aus/NZ

but less easy than some of the other places in your list

How many times!? I never said all!

Even then, lets imagine you did mean "some" of the illegals come here and complain about the country.

Do you even have evidence of that? The only illegals i've seen on tv seem to love this country far more than many British citizens.

infact i think most people in this thread are getting confused with illegal/legal immigrants

it is VERY hard to remain in this country if your here illegally. you cant work , cant claim benefits etc for a start. not without NI numbers and passports which you can only get if you enter legally. most illegal are sent straight home as soon as they come into contact with any of the authorities

and yes like gaygle says illegal immigrants usually do like this country. its there only reason to be here along with maybe having family here. they are certainly not here for benefits and the like because they just dont get them!

I did mean some and do you have any evidence that I am talking rubbish? Apart from not having seen it on the telly? I have seen it on the telly. Maybe we watch different programmes???

It's also important to take into consideration the size of the country, the population of a country as well as when the majority of the immigration took place.
