funny truth

Doesn't the OP simply state how much better of a country this is than all the others it cites as "examples".

Oh, and the whole reason we have all these things, free heathcare, schools, disposable income etc

is thanks to the good old British empire, which might I add raped and pillaged pretty much every square inch of the frigging world?..

it's a sad truth but at the end of the day, we're just giving back what we took in the first place

you get a job - Cool, extra tax income to the government

a driver's licence - As can anyone who pays the money and takes the tests, as long as they've lived in the UK for more than 3 months.

a social security card - No one in the UK gets one of these, we don't HAVE social security numbers. Please update your jokes when you copy American tripe. :p

Welfare benefits - No, they don't.

food stamps - Only if they don't earn. But that's ok as they have a job, right?

credit cards - If the banks and credit agencies agree you're suitable for credit, then more power to you?

subsidized rent or a loan to buy a new house - You mean like... a mortgage?

free education - There's no such thing as 'free' education in the UK. Even the vaguely good state schools demand money from parents every term, in ways that are very non-optional. Schools with no supplemented income do not provide an education, they provide a holding pen for the nation's idiot spawn.

free health care - No, they don't.

and you can VOTE. - No, they can't.
