Got the 212 back on and found some more paste. Ran it @4Ghz and the highest temp it hit was 55C IBT banged it up to 4.4Ghz highest temp it hit was 59C
only reason I suggested his option 3 was there was a poster saying there was issues with rev 3 boards.. Ive got the same board but sure its older.
Ive just replaced the H80i with a phanteks cooler on my 4690k and its running cooler on realbench and I now have piece of mind of no leaks
What Temps are you getting @4.4Ghz with that cooler ?.
1.356 was the max vcore and thats with the overclock at 4.2ghz.
this was my 8350 with the H80i @ 4.4Ghz
Is that a lot of Volts ?
Your V-Core is lower than mine

With them volts i can get 4.6ghz stable on mine.
In bios what settings have you got disable and enable as im trying to work out why you cannot save the vcore.
