Sorry for jumping in here but in all honesty, if SHANE thinks the CPU does what he wants it to do and feels he paid a fair price then thats ok, surely?
Yes, dual core is great fun and is blisteringly quick, but single core isn't really as 'old-hat' as we make it out to be.
Lets look at it this way, £325 for a 2.8ghz CPU which will probably breeze upto 3 - 3.2ghz. In all honesty, i'd pay that.
But hay, if you wanna frym him fell free. But I don't think he made a stupid decision.
