is this ram any good, im looking to keep my overclock, if not better it.

current ram is 4x1gb geil ull 6400

asus maximus formula
q6600 at 3825

They probably can do 8500 speeds if at 2.15V and 5-5-5-15

I have some OCZ PC28000 and they can do PC8500 speeds

Well my BlackDragon take 2.4v for 1066mhz and had them upto 1088mhz.which is not much more but is something.

risk it and save the money or just get the 8500 cause they need to run at 1088 on my system? decision decision. Hope this memory is good?? anyone got it?

I've seen it recommended several times around here so I went and ordered it myself (and the same board

) The Asus Maximus Formula thread mentioned that several people are using it without any problems so you (well, we) should be fine

Yes, but you would pay three times as much on P&P. That completely negates the TWO price :/

From what I read over on xtremesystems they both use the same IC's (PowerChip).

Not allways, Eric @ OCZ informs me that they use up to 3 different IC's on this RAM, so its the luck of the draw really.

The kit Eric had sent out to me clocks very well,(1080) but I can't get them stable at tighter timings.

I'll be coming from 4x1gb sticks of pc6400 @ CL4 timings.
(with my q6600 running 400x9)
