Howdy,

Just on my way into bank, any signs of trouble yet? I guess most of the trouble makers will be asleep still as they are not used to waking up early for work. I have my trusty umbrella to fend them off it has a nice big metal tip. I am wearing a suit, I think I will be ok though

I confidently predict that there won't be much in the way of trouble throughout the G20. The trouble-makers are known to police and will be stopped from arriving in London, the rest of the protesters will be normal people like you and me whose lives have been adversely affected by globalisation and anglo-saxon market economies, and who want their views to be heard ... peacefully.

i agree with the above,

i'm in town today, have meetings so suited as normal cant see there being a massive disruption, but as mentioned they dont like getting up early so we shall see from lunchtime onwards

I just walked through Bank station down Lombard Street/Fenchurch St. Nothing un-toward.

I've just walked thru the City from Liverpool Street to Southwark. Other then loads of nice birds about hubba hubba.... and seeing every one, well nearly every one in plan clothes is weird. It seems pretty quite.

Haha! All the protestors are unwashed, uneducated layabouts with no jobs! Haha!

While we're making sweeping generalisations, how about this one? This forum is full of middle class capitalist materialist Thatcherite Tory boys.

They're definitely lazy gits as around Bishopsgate the number of people by occupation goes

Normal workers
Policemen
Couriers

Protestors

I don't think I've seen one yet, lol

My mates train got stormed by people throwing eggs and flour going into Liverpool Street this morning... he's currently photocopying £50 notes to throw out the windows should they cause any trouble outside like we did in 1999 on Cannon Street

You might fool the **** in the league office, but you don't fool Jesus. This bush league psyche-out stuff. Laughable, man - ha ha! I would have ****ed you in the ass Saturday. I **** you in the ass next Wednesday instead. Wooo! You got a date Wednesday, baby!

Remember, nobbody a ****'s with The Jesus.

You'll be able to smell the trouble before you can see it :D

I'm still trying to work out what the protestors actually want, what changes they want to implement and how they think they will improve things...

Strangely, these parts never seem to be mentioned, one could almost think it's just an excuse for causing disruption and some random violence...
