G5ive

Very smart build Shawy, well done.

Thanks. :)

How well will a loop work like that?

Whats the chances of the water flowing through GPU 1 and back to res and leaving GPU 2 and CPU stagnant?

About a third of the water does just that. I tried this configuration with my old EK supreme LTX and that worked ok, but it was too restrictive compared to the GPU blocks so not much water was getting though. Temps were still fine but it wasn't optimal. I switched to the MIPs Iceforce highflow block because it has one of the best flow rates among CPU blocks - perfect for a parallel loop.

I'm glad you guys like it. :D

A little setback on the photos - I was cutting the USB plugs off of my fan controller so it would fit inside the case and I shorted 2 of the channels when testing it (I didn't put the PCB back in the aluminium case and the pins were exposed to the case) so now I only have 2 fans working. :(
Temps are still under control - I'm starting to think I could just use the Monsta rad completely passive, it's ridiculous. Anyway, I wont be able to finish everything until tuesday now.

Great work, looks lovely :)

Hope you don't have any issues with all the heat from the rad.

Looks awesome

Great work there mate! Really nice G5 mod!

Terrific mod! Really impressed with the finish and spec ;)

Thanks guys! No issues with heat at all, the Alphacool Monsta rad is amazing at keeping temps down and my new fan controller has been installed.

It appears that I made a slight oversight with the new 680s. They're 25mm longer than my current 560Ti's which are already squashed in place by the reservoir. Unless I can manage to push everything forward a tad, I'm going to have to use a shorter reservoir which fits underneath the cards..
