G920 bought

On the Assetto Corsa forums, there do seem to be implications that they are working on updated drivers. And you're quite right - if you're not worried about waiting for the wheels potential to be properly realised, it's a very worthwhile offer to go for. I may similarly put mine to bed for a while and see if things improve. Got many non-wheel games to play at the moment anyway.

Haven't got Dirt Rally sorry, so can't help there.

I've also realised that the braking is a bit odd on Assetto Corsa. Either that or I'm just too heavy footed. I'm struggling to brake at all without locking up. Wasn't as obvious until I started driving the Formula Abarth where it's just ridiculous. Bringing up the pedal position display though if I'm anywhere up to about 50% braking, nothing happens at all, anything above that, instant lock up.

I would have searched online for suggested settings to see if they could help - but every topic about the wheel on t'internet is about it not working at all!

I can wait for updates but looking at the Logitech forums there seems to be a distinct lack of support for Win 10 with the FBB missing! Works in 8 though but nothing from Logitech bar get the latest LGS software which I have tried the last several versions.

I'll wait it out as there are other games I can play with it, although some of the supported games on the list don't seem to work at all xD

Well I'm on windows 10, and I have FFB working OK.

In Dirt Rally?

I am getting nothing at all with it. Noticed though in teh devicesetup_v2.xml config for the game the G29 is listed by the G920 isn't!

Code:
<!-- Logitech G25 -->
	<FFBDevice name="{C299046D-0000-0000-0000-504944564944}" scaleFriction="1.0"  scaleForce="1.0"/>
	<!-- Logitech G27 -->
	<FFBDevice name="{C29B046D-0000-0000-0000-504944564944}" scaleFriction="1.0"  scaleForce="1.0"/>
	<!-- Logitech G29 -->
	<FFBDevice name="{C24F046D-0000-0000-0000-504944564944}" scaleFriction="1.0"  scaleForce="1.0"/>

Just tried Euro Truck Sim 2 and there is no FBB there either, wonder if the wheel is DOA!

I've not managed to get FFB working in any game at all.

I think it is a Windows 10 thing. Definitely not a DOA wheel as it works just fine with my XB1 :(

F1 2013, Assetto Corsa, rFactor 2 - all no FFB, despite trying the various things I've seen online.

I don't have ETS2 to try, not my sort of thing really :)

I have the G920 FFB works in euro truck 2 on windows 10.

I have just been testing and its working now.

I had to go into the settings and push a default profile to the wheel again. Once this was done, remove all LGS software which will remove the drivers and restart windows.

When back in windows, download and reinstall the latest LGS software for the wheel. Once this was done mine is working.

Looks like a Win 10/Driver issue, just remove drivers and install again after a reboot. Working for me fine now :D

As long as Logitech stay on top of it as this is their latest and greatest wheel and it seems that they are ignoring the messages on their own support forum and dishing out instructions for older wheels when the G29/920 doesn't use the profiler anymore etc.

I have it working for now so will leave it alone, just need to tweak the Dirt Feedback settings so its not like wrestling a rhino, wondering if its just the wheel and it needs to give a bit as there is quite a bit of effort needed to turn the wheel at times even when the feedback isn't present.

Sounds promising! Don't suppose you have GRID: Autosport? :D

Can I ask what settings you have for Corsa? Especially in terms of the brake pedal (both the sensitivity it's set to in LGS, and the percentage travel and 'gamma' in the game itself?

Ended up with a T300 GTE edition, only cost £180, amazing wheel, it just works, no waiting for Logitech ( hah ! ), true no shifter and clutch, but then again having one on a non working G920 wasn't any real benefit either :D

Any of you guys with a G920/G29 have any problems with the synthetic leather on the wheel that has not been properly stitched like if you move you're fingers inside the wheel they will catch on it?

Came back into the thread to see if others were having issues again, seems mine has reverted back to a lack of any FFB and the wheel is like I am trying to turn it through cement.

I've had this working but seems it will work when it feels like it.

I own G29, i'm very unhappy with it, had g25 and it was working with all the games. Cause G29 was considerably cheap bought it, thinking i'm going to have some good time. But no! Wheel work with Dirt Rallye, and ProjectCars, but any older game doesn't recognize this peace of sh....t, if only I knew about these issues before buying the wheel, I would never have bought it. Now i'm stuck with ..... And Logitech is doing nothing to solve these issues, they don't respond to any of the threads, some time ago I was thinking that Logitech is one of the best companies, but it looks like that have changed. BTW this is my second G29, as the first one died after 3 hours of playing.
All I want to say, don't buy G29/G920 wheel ATM, till Logitech hasn't fixed all the issues. Now they gonna take your money and leave you with endless problems.

Im happy with my G920 but having said that it is my first wheel that I have ever owned. I did take the ridiculous rubber block the put at the end of the brake pedal! I mean come on? Cheapskates put a proper variable spring in it and that LED, blue tack solved that issue. As for games, really really enjoying projects cars and cannot wait for VR, particularly with the helmet camera, that is going to be awesome!

LOL, so ridiculous that the serious sim racers have been buying this aftermarket mod :
