Pretty much. 99% of my friends/family who picked up my Note 3 have always commented on how "one piece" it feels and the quality of the grip from the back cover texturing.

As you say, the majority of people don't care to notice material craftsmanship, they know the phone from the name brand that it bears.

Funny story from work today, a girl (she has a 5s anyway) was saying she'd not seen the new iPhone yet, someone showed her and she goes "that looks like a Samsung!" :D

My sister has one, upgraded from the S2. It's a solid phone and performs really well.
 
Anyone still using one of these ? Got one coming in frosted gold

Only concern is the small battery .But struggling to find the official higher capicity battery that only came with the white or black back

Maybe thinking I should order a couple of the original spec batteries and grab a seperate charger

Didn't really want to go for a big phone again and this looks good specs
 
Cant say i care for the small battery, it lasts the day easy enough, more often than not at +50%. I'm already in the habit from charging my phone every night from years of lacklustre performance from previous devices! :)

Get plenty of positive comments about it as its quite a rare phone my all accounts, i love it personally, may not be the quickest or highest res screen on the market (doubt its even noticeable) but its form factor makes it perfect imo.
 
got to agree on the battery ,first day of caning it and i got 3.6 hours of screen on time and still have 20 percent left

thats with all accounts syncing and no power saving switch on , also i love how fast this phone charges
