It's that time again where Samsung announce the new ZFlip and Zfold devices, and probably some other items too.

They have some decent offers for pre-orders, up to £150 off, Buds2, etc.

What's everyone think? Will you be grabbing one of the new devices?

Payed off Fold 3 after 2 years this month and so far not seen a reason to upgrade, atleast not until manufacturers find a way to make hard inner screens, which right now are soft as **** plastic.

Probably several years from now.

Personally have an S23 Ultra. I'd be interested in a Fold, but the screens are pretty fragile, would still consider one

I'd find it really difficult to go back to a regular phone, the big screen is fantastic, but yes you can essentially destroy the inner screen with a finger nail pushed down hard enough. Took me a few months of adjusting, eventually taking the screen protector off because it had dings in it after a year from thumb nail. Feels far nicer without actually the protector actually, it's very thick.

Samsung have certainly gone into incremental mode from Fold 4 onward (virtually identical to Fold 3) whilst the difference between the 2 and 3 were big. For a while it reminded me of the 2000's and early 2010 golden age of hardware designa until all phone became a screen slab. Proper boring, functional but stale.

I'm excited to see how this year's will compare to last. The design on the hinge, perhaps a re-design of the screen to make it more resistant to user damage.

It's nice to see another fold having being used for almost 2 years without any problems. Most people I've spoken to have always had a screen issue on the main screen inside.

I've always stuck to the S line of Samsung devices, but have tried the odd note, and have never been keen on them even with as beautiful as they are. The S23U comes with a pen anyway, so it's like having a note.

Overall, the real persuasion of moving would be the screen as it's like having a mini monitor with you. But, it would have to be a bump up on specs and really defeat the S23U to warrant moving. I'd be keen to see what they offer on trade in against this phone.

So many leaks and teasers over the past few weeks, I assumed they had already been officially announced by now. As always I like to keep up on how the new devices turn out but see little reason to pay the premium for.

I like the idea of a fold but bought an S23 Ultra so will probably hold off this year.
More interested in the tablets at this point as I'm due an upgrade - expecting incremental updates to the S9+ and S9 Ultra (CPU mainly) but will likely order one or the other for work.

Nothing has been officially announced yet. But the leaks 9/10 are very accurate and it's fairly obvious with each event what's being unveiled.

I'd like a watch but Samsung appear to have lost the plot with pricing again so not expecting to be tempted, even if they reintroduce the rotating bezel... hope I'm wrong of course.

Quite like the look of the new watch but only got a Series 5 at Christmas so will wait... quite like the Bezel!

I have ordered the top end 1TB/16GB Tab S9 Ultra 5G though - almost spent the same on an S8 a few weeks ago but with a couple of discount codes and of course the 50% off the keyboard it works out at around £1400 for a better specced device, should arrive next week!

I briefly had an S8 Ultra but had to switch to Windows for work but I did love it even if it was a little large!
I now use a Kindle Scribe for reading off so happy to use the Ultra in the same way I would a Surface Pro.

I've actually been using my S23 Ultra via an external monitor and Samsung DEX for work this last week and managed to do about 99% of what I need to do in Android
