Guys I had this done today .. Im still as high as a kite but the op went really well ..

I had the bladder and three stones this size removed ..

2 weeks off work now so happy happy.

I'd say more like a Malteaser, or one of those new Mars efforts.

Good news on getting fixed, and keeping what they took out. Now eBay it.
 
u got let out the same day and got to keep ** gallstones?

I was stuck in hospital for 3 days and didnt even see mine (not that i really wanted to!). it also took me a lot longer than 2 weeks to recover. not fair! :( they did mess mine up tho by dropping the stones back inside my stomach and had to fish them out! :rolleyes:
 
They wouldn't let me out until the next day. Just as well though as I was out like a light most of the day :) Mine (well it's not often you have the occasion to show people your gall stone! :p):

How did it put you off your meatball? unless your meatballs look like hard round crystals :confused: To be fair anyone silly enough to click on a thread title like that when they are eating gets what they deserve I say :p
 
Do they do this via keyhole? I had an op 2 weeks ago today on the opening to my stomach, and was back at work this Monday. A bit knackered, but recovering well. I've also got a smiley face on my torso now (nipples = eyes, 1 incision middle-top of my stomach, and 3 other incisions around my stomach) :D
