Game closing stores NOW.

I tried to go into the Newcastle-under-Lyme Gamestation today only to find it shut. One of the staff said something about a burst pipe, but I didn't believe that as he sounded really shady when he said it.

There is a Game and a Gamestation in Oldham but neither are closing? Madness, close one keep the other.

Middlesbrough Game closing, but nothing about Redcars, but I already know staff have been made redundant..

Even now they're full of crap, it's shameful.

All of my local shops are closing. The poor buggers. The Gamestation in Newcastle has some really nice, helpful staff - so I feel for them :(

On the plus side, their local competition will likely expand - and they are really good too.

Well it would have been weird to see the downstairs GAME shut then to go up the stairs to see the second GAME open... :p

Edit : ^ Oh snap

True, that would've been pretty strange. :p To tell the truth, I'm more gutted that I won't be able to chat up that tasty serving wench with all the ink down her arms anymore. :(

Burst pipe, lol. What a response. :o :D

Regardless, the severity of the situation does make me feel for the staff. Such a shame things led to this.

No mention of Doncaster so guess they'll be open a bit longer. Tempted to head into town and see what they have but I get the feeling it'll be a completely wasted trip.

Reading is closing one Game store so that still leaves one Game and one Gamestation in the town practically next to each other!

In Bristol, there were 2 gamestares within 2 minutes of each other!
Pretty apt typo, it was always fun making fun of the staff by asking silly questions and watching their clueless faces go blank. I'm sure there will be plenty of openings for them all at McD's.
