as per usual with this site i run out of money, the way round this used to be player 4 5 1, but they have taken that option out, and the midfielders are as expensive as the fowards, i dont like how they have changed the system

my views on some of your selections

freddie ljunberg is a bit injured at the mo, not sure if he is starting

carrick is again not 1st team choice the way it goes, you have a better chance getting points with a worse regular player

feel free to critise my team :p
 
Personally, I would take Essien out. Remember only two teams from each group will go through, so it's best to pick players from the two favourite teams from each group. That way your players can build up more points as they last longer in the competition. I'd fancy Italy and Czech Republic to qualify Group E knocking Ghana out. :)
 
Can anyone tell me why Brad Friedel isn't in the USA squad? He's a better kepper than Howard or Keller. I'm not even sure Howard is the USA number 1 so i may not even get a run for my money there. Also, i don't know if Boumsong is a first choice central defender for France.
