I took a big gamble today on Switzerland keeping a clean sheet and Spain not with most people having loads of Spanish players and it worked a bit better than my gamble to use Ronaldo when most people had Adriano

I think the idea I made ages ago about a small prize for the top team is kind of redundant now.

Perhaps a small prize drawn randomly from all the teams listed is a better idea. No need to have bothered with the full game other than to gloat if you are the points winner

Shame we have so many people not using subs. The top super league gets 20 games to share between it's members.

Remember that mini league that had 200+ teams, well it's nowhere to be seen on the league of league table. In fact mini-leagues with around 15 teams are common in the top of the table.

A) It defeats the purpose of picking a best 11
B) I was away the first week of the competition so couldn't make daily changes like all the other people who were using subs/changing out a lot of players daily
c) Half the time the site doesn't work well enough to be able to check your team score, let alone make subs.

Me too, I'm aiming for 4th position now and there seems to be a lot of competition for it. And it going to get harder winning more points than everyone else since there will be less teams soon and everyone will be picking the same players.

I wouldn't be so sure. Was looking good for most of today but ended up pretty rubbish. You lot should gain on me today. After the group stages the transfers dry up so anything could happen.

Thanks, it's the Hamleys league I've got my eye on now, though anything top 16 overall gets a prize.

The annoying thing is I've made 2 stupid errors costing me 20 points and sky giving out wrong team info has cost me another 25-30 points, I could be top 3 now :mad:

Ive just niped into the top 10 today by 1 point, but ive still got a couple of swiss players to play tonight so im hoping i might get a few more points.
