I may just do this one when I'm on the PC after work as I can run the lobby in the bg, instead of trying to idle it. The other daily checks are fairly quick sort of 5 min jobs, this seems like it can sometimes take more time.

I'll experiment a bit with this, goal is max points with min effort really, 275 pts a day isn't to be sniffed at, though I don't want to expend too much of my time chasing it either 
Just trying this for the first time today myself, apparentl Age of Empires takes an hour in the lobby?
I certainly do, just in 2023 alone its got Starfield, Forza, Cities 2, Steamworld Build, Lamplighters League, Sea of Stars, Atomic Heart, Lies of P and Everspace 2, thats just the new releases of course, in terms of already released titles gems like Valheim and Medieval Dynasty were added this year. Still a bargain for me.

It's like any sub service really, can sub to play specific things and then lapse it if you want, no need to remain permanently subscribed.
Yeah, the beauty of subs which dont tie you down and lets face it, subscription things are very subjective anyway, lets say that the two sports that I most like to watch are Curling and Ice Skating, I'd then declare Sky Sports to be hot garbage and be shocked that anyone subscribes to it, purely on the basis that nothing on it is something I want to see. Whereas for millions of football or F1 fans, its the best channel to subscribe to.

AFAIK they changed it so the play with friends etc you need a game pass sub unfortunately. Before you didn't need an active sub you just needed a game that tied into an Xbox multiplayer account. You can do the searches without a game pass sub though.
It's random AFAIK, I've had it pop fast, I've had it take hours. Normally it's within 10 minutes though. Sometimes I switch lobbies on AoE which to me seems to help.
Just read the gold conversion rate is only 3:2 now.
Glad i got another 3 years worth in June, when cdkeys were flogging 6 months for £12!
That does make the value a bit harder to justify. ~£80 for three years of ultimate was bonkers value to be honest.

Wait until the acquisition of Activation\Blizzard goes through, which will be soon. They will also most likely have a new game pass premium that will include World of Warcraft, which will be nice. If its the same price as Ultimate then it will be quite good value.
Tested it out last night, I got 10 points for starting up Minecraft though. So I don't think I will be able to get any of the other points, am going to wait until I see what Microsoft does with World of Warcraft before I sub to anything, don't really want to get a 3 months subscription only for them to come with a new higher tier package.
@Dark Light I've never had Minecraft trigger the play with friends with randoms when I've tried it. And I believe it has to be bedrock which I used.
10 points sounds like play a pc game. If you're getting that, you might also be able to get play with friends. See if there's a f2p multiplayer game on the Xbox app on pc, rubber bandits comes to mind but not 100% sure.

Yes it was play a PC game, but only got 10 points as opposed to 25. Will look into what I need to do with play with friends later, I have AoE2 on Steam via sharing.
If it logs in with an Xbox login then just join a lobby. If it's anything like AoE there will be lobbies listed as ms250 or points or something similar.
For the extra points it's probably the same as what hungryhippos posted earlier for play with friends. See below

That does seem to be the case.
So the play game on PC one is +25 on the same sort of basis, and the play with friends one is +250, combined +275 not a small amount, each month that would basically double my earnings from what I had been doing.

If you want an extra 100, do the shopping game. Reddit has more information, but zoom in on the page to reduce the options to 3 instead of 4, middle click on see more for each product and see which price is the cheapest. You can do it 10 times a day for 100 points. Sometimes it gets confused though.

Still a game of effort/reward for me, even 275 a day is only £5 per month, adds up but got to keep stuff in perspective as well
The daily searches which my script automates are 90 + 60 + 12 (Desktop + Mobile + Edge bonus) = 162.
The daily tasks are 30-50 usually. The quizzes are a little annoying, wish I could automate the daily tasks as well.
There are then usually some links to open that are usually +5 or +10, but I reckon not more than about another 30-50 per day.
So without the game stuff, it's probably around 250 per day.

So did my first fresh day today after the bumper first day and it looks like it will be around 530 points without doing the mobile searches which for less thn 10 minutes work on a machine I sit ta ll day for work is going to be esy to hit. Nice little habit stack as well.
