Has this "gamer girl" stuff "jumped the shark" so to speak... this seems to be peak ridiculousness - an instagrammer/youtuber person decided to respond to some ongoing joke about drinking her bathwater by actually selling samples of it... which then promptly sold out?????

I'm curious, since this community, by nature of being overclocking related, has a lot of gamers does anyone on here actually follow this person? Is she any good at playing video games or is she more interested in being an Insta-ho/model/"influencer"?

Did any of you lot buy the bathwater?

Belle Delphine, the social media star and so-called “gamer girl”, made headlines this week for selling her used bath water online.

Delphine, 19, who has a global following (4.2 million on Instagram), announced she would be selling $30 bottles of “bath water for all you thirsty gamer boys” in an Instagram post that garnered more than 500,000 likes.

Although the sale was widely mocked, the bottles of bath water sold out immediately. But who’s buying it?

“She’s the type of girl who’s fun and outgoing and has a sense of humor whilst also being really pretty,” one fan told the Guardian via Instagram DM. “I can’t really explain the bath water. I think it’s more of a talking piece. For the vast majority I think it’s just merchandise.”

People have been selling used knickers for years. This is much the same, though probably more profitable. I'm sure she can fill lots of small bottles from one bath. Certainly far more bottles per day than knickers per day. The point is selling the pretence of intimacy.

So...I've been wearing these undies for 15 hours, most of it in a hot environment (it's been a long day at work). Who wants them for £50? :)

Also she's not a gamer, just another bog standard instagram thot like all the rest. Except her niche is wearing wigs and trying to look provocative / underage.

I've really got no idea what kind of loser sits and follows these individuals on instagram.
 
You do know she did this ironically and shes taking the ****?

I don't think anyone is hating on it per say, it is just a bit bizarre and so has attracted a lot of attention. (and no doubt increased her followers)

Though a quick google reveals her dressing in S&M gear too etc.. it seems she's heightened things a fair bit more than usual in terms of wanting to come across in some sexual manner while remaining an instagrammer/"gamer girl" and not a porn star/cam girl.

I think shes even said shes not a gamer girl but said screw it... lets run with this. She released a instagram post a week or 2 ago saying if she got x amount of followers or like she would release porn to pornhub. She got the required number of whatevers then released **** take videos such as

As so many "gamers" got ****** she didn't actually release any porn videos she then did the bathwater to take the **** further
 
At the end of the day shes got a lot of attention, made a modest amount of money and increased her own profile by basically a huge troll. I think influencers are an utter waste of time as human beings generally but.... gotta love the hustle

Totally agree. I remember reading one restaurant in the US was being bombarded with influencers asking for free meals to promote the place and he told them to **** off. The guy then made a policy... "influencers" get charged double
 
She's not a gamer but an e-thot. Sells lewd pics for money and does a semi lewd patrion. The kids these days call it a premium snapchat but it's just modernised prositution.

Girl I used to hang out with back in the day is doing it - dunno what long term sustainability is like but she cleared something like £50K last month!
