I feel sorry for them, I don't take delight in them being like that. Men being like that makes all of us worse off because very average women think they're special because they get a lot of likes on a photo where they're wearing a ton of make up and have a load of filters applied.

The only negative to me is the humourless killjoys who seem to take it so personally that these 'gamer girls' exist. Leave people to their fun, IMO.

I mean, I don't dig it personally - but so what? Don't see the harm in it.

I find it hilarious really! Some people are sad and will waste money on anything. Good on her for using that to her advantage
 
Where are the rabid feminists who got rid of 'models' at sporting events when it comes to stuff like this? they only seem to be offended by women monetising their natural beauty but if you do something lewd for money it's fine.

Feminism isn't a monolithic beast.

For example, one branch of feminism is responsible for strategically linking the conversation on sex work to sex trafficking, this started in the '80s and culminated in the laws in USA last year that basically banned sex workers from advertising in craigslist and other ad spaces, putting them at more danger (these feminists are total ******* ********* - see also TERFs and anti-choice 'feminists' like our own H4rm0ny ). Other branches of feminism support the rights of sex workers, recognising that the industry will exist and that it to the benefit of women to actually listen to those involved to help keep them safe.

I don't think she's the problems. It's the clowns who are buying it are the problem. Like someone said earlier, modernised prostitution. It just.. blows my mind.
 
To be honest you are all a bunch of old fogies that wouldn't know cool if it slapped you in the face with tentacles. This is clearly perfectly normal and you need to get with the times.

Part of me is envious that if you are born a girl and are happy to work on this space (gaming, using the term loosely) you can make a disgusting amount of money by doing not very much.

They say its a man's world, but not in this space. Yes, in the three traditional roles, but as a guy you would actually have to be exceptional at gaming A girl, its still a niche market.

Surprised me don't do it.
 
If she can make a living by selling bath water then good luck to her. I suspect the resulting outrage has also helped grow her channel too.

She's definitely not the idiot in all this.
 
I don't think she is really in the 'gaming' business, such as twitch streamer/youtuber etc. The best way to put it she is like a glamour model that used to be in the likes FHM and Zoo but with a gaming 'theme'. She sells pictures/videos of herself, plus the extras. Instead of working for a magazine, she is selling them herself and probably making a lot more money than those glamour models did.

And they got all the F1 "grid girls" sacked, which was a pretty well paying job and ****** them right off as they never asked for their oppinion.

Nah, that was a marketing move. F1's fanbase is getting rapidly older, and younger audiences (whom F1 would like to attract) aren't so down with having dolly girls prettifying stuff. Part of modernisation.
