games for 56k..... :(

hardy harrr harrr! well ive just installed delta force: TFD and patched it but it keeps kicking me from the games, dunno if its the public admins doing it or what :(, and theres no novalogic games now :( used to love team king of the hill :D hehe ahhh memories!!!

and just installed swat 3 but...... i have to patch it 3 times..... total of about 100mb.... no way is that going to happen on this con :( lol ill steal someones internet while im up in town tomorrow

god even when my internet connection goes **** up, my back up even then is a 3g phone via usb. 56k should be killed in the face.
 
Interestingly some of the top il-2 aces are on 56K. One I know and he lives in the Canadian wilderness where he will probably never get anything better. Most certainly does not prevent him from pwning me at almost every opportunity :(
In FPS games being on 56K can be an advantage that will even get you kicked on occasion because you twitch about the map and can be almost impossible to hit, especially with a bolt action rifle.
 
Looks like you were looking for FPS, but in case not: Trackmania. Free, or you can pay a fiver and get the full experience. Top quality game, almost completely unaffected by ping.

Return to Castle Wolfenstien. Was a 2001 remake of Wolfenstien 3D, which was the very first 3D shoot em up (before Doom). RTCW is very much an excellent game and scared the crap outta me. When I first played it I had just got me 5.1 speakers set up and the frist time you go down in the crypt made me jump a little :)
